eduroam has separate definitions for home institutions and visited institutions as outlined below.
The University of East Anglia complies with home and visited status.
All eduroam sites have signed up to a uniform Acceptable Use Policy which applies even when using the service at your home institution. Each organisation within eduroam is likely to have their own Conditions of Use which must also be complied with. The eduroam (UK) AUP and the relevant University of East Anglia Terms and Conditions are given below:
Note that, in the event of a discrepancy between the Acceptable Use Policy and the local Terms and Conditions then more stringent interpretation will apply. Note that there is a more extensive eduroam (UK) User Guide (PDF 1.4Mb) which gives more of an overview of the service and includes the AUP within it.
If you are visiting another eduroam(UK) site - please use the eduroam (UK) - National Locations map to familiarise yourself with your visited sites' Conditions of Use and to confirm their visited status, service tier and means of connection. If you are going further afield the main eduroam site may be of use.
If you are a member of the University of East Anglia, regardless of whether you are on-site or at a remote site, your first point of contact for technical support for this service is the University of East Anglia IT Service Desk.
Please do not contact the local support service if you are at a remote site.
